SAK Construction utilizes a variety of trenchless technologies including CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) and large diameter tunneling to rehabilitate damaged sewer pipes 6 inches to 96 inches in diameter. SAK’s “no-dig” CIPP approach means that most damaged sewer pipes can be rehabilitated quickly, safely and cost-effectively, with minimal disruption or inconvenience to the surrounding community and environment.
Trenchless renovation of water distribution systems demands different CIPP materials as well as specialized installation expertise. To repair and renovate water distribution systems, SAK provides CIPP using Aqua-Pipe®. SAK is the exclusive licensee for installing Aqua-Pipe in 10 U.S. states--Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, South Carolina and Texas--plus southern Illinois.
SAK projects range from design/build or negotiated contract procurement to design/bid/build.
SAK is a contract partner of Choice Facility Partners, a Houston-based cooperative purchasing organization available to government entities nationwide. Choice Facility Partners streamlines the bidding and contracting processes for infrastructure projects for a variety of nonprofits, including cities, counties, school districts, colleges and universities. SAK’s partnership with Choice Facility Partners incorporates the benefits of cooperative purchasing and enables SAK to provide CFP members the best overall value in trenchless technology and other pipeline rehabilitation services. Technologies offered under the partnership include cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining in water and sewer pipes, pipe-bursting in water and sewer pipes, Swagelining of sewer force mains and water transmission mains, CIPP lining in sewer laterals and manhole rehabilitation.
